Chewey stood in a small pool of water, panting and happy as could be as seven children poured water over his fur and rubbed him down with soap. The large-sized mix dog was one of the first to come to Holy Family Catholic School?s dog wash Saturday.

Bicyclist hit in crash (Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter)

MANITOWOC A 22-year-old Manitowoc bicyclist was taken to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center on Monday after he collided with a vehicle at the intersection of 16th and Washington streets, according to Manitowoc Police Officer Larry Perronne.

The Manitowoc Parks Rec Dept. will sponsor a mens and womens basketball league on Monday through Thursday evenings in the Fall. The non-officiated leagues include divisions for average and above average ability players. League play will consist of a 10-game season, beginning Sept. 15. Players must be at least 18 years of age in the mens leagues.
